Founder and CEO
Kobi joined TAB in July 2020. As part of the management team, his role at TAB involves optimising performance across the business, by providing support, strategic planning and advice. He is responsible for ensuring effective processes and systems and part of the wider strategic decisions for TAB. Kobi previously founded a fintech company that enables fractional equity and debt investment into UK property and he is also a qualified solicitor. His weekends involve waking up too early, playing princess or pirate games, and occasionally treading on lego. During the winter holidays, you can find Kobi snowboarding down one of the French Alps.
COO & General Counsel
Mathura joined TAB in June 2019 as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. Before that, she was a partner at Philip Ross Solicitors for over 12 years where she managed a team of five solicitors and secured work from a number of real estate developers. She has over 20 years experience in property law to include real estate, secured lending, bridging finance and acting for developers. Her current role within the senior management team involved loan management, legals, underwriting and sign off. She spends much of her free time chauffeuring for her children.
CIO and Head of Development Finance
Eli joined TAB in October 2020 and has over ten years of experience as a property developer. He has successfully developed over £60m worth of residential, commercial and retail property in and around London. Before moving into property development, Eli worked at JP Morgan within the credit derivatives department. His role at TAB involves the analysis, approval and monitoring of development loans from origination right the way through to redemption. Eli’s weekends are all about sports, staying active and family time. When he’s not managing one of his children’s football teams, he can be found running, cycling, or tuning into the latest football score.
Head of Underwriting
Danny joined TAB in May 2019. Previously, he led the internal sales team and was a business development manager for a bridging loan firm. Before that, he was a manager for another specialist lending firm where he also learnt to underwrite. He has close to ten years of specialist finance experience and has covered topics such as underwriting, sales, regulation, policy and risk. His role at TAB is to manage the underwriting team who review and process the applications from borrowers. Danny ensures that the loans TAB lends against are fully reviewed and that TAB is making the right lending decisions. In his spare time, Danny enjoys exercising in the gym, good food and drinks with friends, travelling, relaxing fishing or getting competitive with online gaming.
Tom joined TAB in October 2020 and is responsible for managing the financial actions of the company, tracking cash flow, financial planning, identifying financial strength and weakness, as well as managing external relationships. He is also involved in the strategy side of the business, as well as corporate governance. Tom has a wealth of experience and has held several finance and accounting roles across various industries. Most recently, he was the finance director at an FCA regulated asset manager having spent several years as a financial services auditor at EY. Tom has a young family and a pilot’s license. On the weekends, you can find him at a soft play, the zoo, or over the skies of the UK.
Nick joined TAB in October 2019. His role includes generating new business, building and maintaining new and existing relationships with borrowers, brokers, and valuers. He also manages the sales team and ensures they hit their targets. He enjoys watching sports, particularly Spurs, who are his favourite football team and College Football is a guilty pleasure.
Head of Marketing
Katrina joined TAB in October 2020. Her role at TAB includes creating, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy across all aspects of the business. Her role is focused around providing customers with a best in class experience. She has previously worked in the marketing departments for an alternative finance company in the UK property market and before that the UK’s largest architectural practice. She enjoys hosting and attending dinner parties and when she’s not thinking of the next dish to cook, she is usually on a spin bike.
Head of Compliance
Alex joined TAB in December 2020. Her role at TAB will be working with teams ensuring our operations are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements, as well as building and enhancing our internal processes. She qualified as a solicitor at the Financial Services Authority (now FCA). Alex subsequently worked at Clifford Chance, a multinational law firm, advising on regulatory issues and more recently with an FCA authorised asset manager. She is a social history geek and an overly competitive pub quizzer. She enjoys reading and learning new things, trawling second-hand book and junk shops. Alex, loves the outdoors, be it swimming at her local lido or rambling about the Peak District with friends and Lily (a chocolate Labrador) and stopping off at country pubs along the way.
Mark joined TAB in July 2020 and has previously worked in a wide range of different sectors including tourism, media and finance. At TAB, his role involves developing the new TAB technology platform which will enhance the business offering by allowing funders to sign up and pledge for new loans directly within the platform. Mark enjoys sailing, running and listening to music as well as spending time with his family and friends.
Senior Software Engineer
Kevin joined TAB in July 2020 as a senior software engineer. Previously Kevin used to work in the technology team for a digital marketing company that managed the majority of the LED digital billboards around the UK. His responsibilities at TAB include designing user interactions on websites, developing servers and databases for website functionality, and coding for mobile platforms. On the weekends, you can find him working on his wife's food blog.
Imogen joined TAB in February 2021 as a group accountant and previously held roles in the finance departments in the warehouse and logistics industry. Imogen is responsible for keeping and interpreting financial records. Her role includes a wide range of finance-related tasks for the business, from consolidating, reporting and forecasting to ensuring the reporting standards are financially compliant. She enjoys pilates and spends her weekend with her family.
Emmanuel joined in March 2021. Before TAB, he was a senior underwriter at Market Financial Solutions. His role at TAB involves underwriting loans which include the analysis of new loan applications from the information submitted and assessing the risks involved with each loan. Emmanuel regularly liaises with brokers and borrowers, surveyors and solicitors to research and gather all information required to undertake TAB's due diligence. On the weekend he spends time with his family, watches football, attends church and sneaks in a few episodes of Murder She Wrote.
Business Development Manager
Bethan joined TAB in March 2021. She is an experienced business development manager with a wealth of experience delivering property lending solutions to brokers and borrowers, she previously worked for the bridging lender, Octane and prior to that, the start-up Habito. Her role at TAB involves the origination of short-term bridging loans alongside relationship building and TAB brand promotion. She can deliver lending solutions to clients with efficiency, transparency and accuracy. A self-confessed foodie, you can find Bethan eating her way through the London restaurant scene while balancing playing sports and spending time with her family.
Kelly joined TAB in September 2018. Previously she was an Office Manager at a personalised jewellery manufacturer. Kelly is the source of information and the customer service function for funders. She also provides the office with general technical support. Kelly has four children, and after she has caught up on much-needed sleep and reading up on what’s coming soon in the technology world, she is busy ferrying them around to playdates.
Kligan joined TAB in February 2021 as a front-end developer working on the development of the TAB platform and website. Previously he worked for a technology firm creating digital products including apps, interactive websites and android games. His role at TAB includes translating wireframes into code, maintaining and improving the website and making essential enhancements to the user experience. He assists with the development of marketing and technology features that are launched on the website. Kligan regularly takes part in online chess tournaments.
Jordan joined TAB in November 2020. His role of lending administrator is to provide essential support to the sales and underwriting team and process. He is responsible for providing daily loan operational support as well as writing and distributing term sheets to borrowers, instructing valuations and ensuring information relating to borrowers and their loans is up to date and accurately recorded on TAB systems. Before joining TAB, Jordan was general manager of a mobile phone retail outlet where he managed a team of five staff. Jordan enjoys time with his family, playing PC games and getting stuck into a gripping TV series.
